About the photoshoot

Meet Alaska, a Samoyed who could easily be mistaken for an Arctic wolf. These are some of my favourite shots of him enjoying a winter wonderland. Capturing a white dog in the snow is no easy feat—the challenge lies in keeping him in focus while preserving the contrast between his coat and the snow. Despite the difficulty, the result is a series of striking images that truly reflect Alaska’s spirit.

His playful leaps and determined gaze are perfectly framed by the pristine snow, making these moments feel almost otherworldly. The snow-covered landscape, combined with his fluffy white coat, evokes the feeling of a wild and majestic creature completely at home in this environment. Each shot highlights Alaska’s lively energy and his natural grace, proving that even in a blanketed white landscape, his personality shines brightly.
